What days are you closed?

We are closed on Christmas Day with appointment only on Boxing Day.

For all other public holidays (Waitangi, ANZAC, Labour Day etc) we are closed in the morning ( between 8-10am) and open in the afternoon ( between 4-6pm).  

Easter hours are: 

Good Friday - Open 8-10am and 4-6pm

Easter Sunday and Easter Monday - Closed 8-10am and Open 4-6pm

How much does it cost?

Standard rate: $14 per suite per night, 2 cats sharing $25 per night.

Multiple cat rates available- please enquire

Long term rates available- please enquire

What do I need to bring?

Our pricing includes bedding (blankets and beds), a chair, scratchers, toys, water and food bowls as well as 2 daily feeds of Royal Canin Fit 32 ( a vet quality dry food) or Kitten dry food. 

Customers are more than welcome to bring any items that would make their feline friend(s) stay more relaxing. 

What does my cat(s) need to have to board with you?

All pets must have a current vaccination ( Fellocell 3 or Nobivac Tricat Trio, depending who your vets are) that covers the time of their boarding. We accept vaccination boosters that are completed every two years. Expired vaccines or new vaccinations must be completed 10 days prior, failure to do this may mean we are unable to board your pet. 

We also prefer for all pets to have had recent flea and worm treatments.

What types of boarding do you offer?

We provide 2 types of boarding options depending on the nature and temperament of your pet(s).

Individual- suitable for single or multiple cats sharing, we have a limited number of window views which we book on a first in first served basis.

Semi Communal - a free-roaming space (which has a capacity for 12 cats) with an indoor and outdoor room. Each pet has their own 2 tiered suite for sleeping in at night. 

What are the terms of boarding that I am required to sign?

All customers are required to read and sign the following terms below on the first visit, this will then cover all subsequent bookings. 

Our commitment to you:

 Rooms are fully sanitized between use including food and water bowls

 Your pet(s) will receive individual attention and will be checked on several times a day.

Food quantities are measured to avoid over feeding and we use only premium quality food.

 Two meals will be provided and water replenished daily.

We reserve the right to move cats from booked areas to ensure the safety and well being of staff and all animals in our care.

We will seek veterinary attention for your pet if we consider it necessary. If your animal becomes seriously ill and you cannot be contacted the appropriate treatment will be decided on by a veterinarian. The pet's owner will pay all expenses incurred.

Your commitment to us:

 Your pet will have an up to date vaccination (unless written confirmation can be obtained from the owners practicing veterinarian as to why their cat cannot be vaccinated due to a medical condition), flea and worm treatments. Any cat found to have parasites present will be treated and charged accordingly.

We must be informed of any current medical conditions, or food requirements. We accept your animal on the basis that it is in good health and that you have disclosed to us everything we should know about your pet on arrival.

 All animals are left at the owner’s risk and whilst every possible care is taken we cannot be held responsible for any illness, loss, disease or death that may occur during boarding.

Due to the demand for accommodation during holiday periods we reserve the right to charge you for the full period booked, should you collect your cat prior to the arranged date.

Payments must be made in full by day of departure unless prior arrangements with management have been made.
